LifeHacks: Let others do nice things for you

from a college student to another

Let others do nice things for you

I’ve been creating some content for ENTP. and I thought I would share it here.

We understand Mondays are rough. But Tuesdays? Oh man, that’s a whole different story. So far from the weekend yet so early in the week. Starting today ENTP. we will share our own Tuesday #‎LifeHacks to make the week a little bit more bearable and well, attempt to get a change in attitude towards the rest of the week.

Our first post is something we’ve been thinking about a lot lately. It’s about letting other people do nice things for you. Think about the last time someone offered you a glass of water, a coffee, or something from outside as he/she heads out to grab something to eat. Our first instinct is to say no — we almost say it without thinking. Maybe it’s because we don’t want to bother anyone, or just want to save them the hassle or the expense. Truth is: we might want some water, a cup of coffee, a sandwich from downstairs.

So today ENTP. challenges you to say yes more often. Let others do nice things for you. There is an inherent mutual feeling of bliss when you are able to help someone out, so why not let the people around you feel this sense of worthiness, support and value? Allow them to know they are capable of making you a better person. Trust me, he/she will be overjoyed to see you sipping that creamy latte with an overwhelming gratitude. This is our Tuesday LifeHack, even if you don’t necessarily want anything, give others the opportunity to do nice things for you. Entrepreneurs know the importance of working collaboratively and helping each other out with every chance they have.

On behalf of the entire team at ENTP. let’s make this week about saying yes more often — Let others do nice things for you.
